Paulo Henrique Rodrigues Pereira
Paulo Henrique Rodrigues Pereira is Minister of the Ministry of Entrepreneurship, Microenterprise and Small Business and a professor at the Department of State Law at the University of São Paulo (USP) Law School. He holds a PhD and a Master’s degree in Law from USP, with academic training at Harvard University, and worked as a lawyer from 2009 to 2021.
Throughout his career, he has held key public positions, including Executive Secretary of the Council for Economic and Social Development at the Presidency of the Republic. With international academic experience as a Visiting Fellow and researcher at Harvard’s African and Latin American Research Institute (ALARI), his work focuses on State Law, legal theory, inequality, and slavery. He has published in national and international journals and has received awards such as the USP Outstanding Thesis Award (2023) and the Order of Rio Branco.
