Associate Professor and Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs at the LSE School of Public Policy. She serves on the VoxDev Editorial Board and is affiliated with BREAD, CEPR, CESifo, STICERD, IFS, IGC, JPAL-LAC, and the Lemann Foundation Fellows Network. She holds a PhD from Harvard University, and her research focuses on Public Economics, Development Economics, and Political Economy. Her work has been published in leading journals such as American Economic Review, Journal of Development Economics, and Journal of Economic History, and featured in outlets including The New York Times, The Economist, Folha de S.Paulo, Valor Econômico, and O Globo.
