José Henrique Paim is Director of Public Management and Education Policy Development at FGV (DGPE) and a professor at FGV EBAPE. An economist, he holds a doctorate by distinguished recognition in Education from UFRGS, where he also earned a master’s degree in Economics. He has extensive public sector experience, having served as Brazil’s Minister of Education, Executive Secretary of the Ministry of Education, President of FNDE, and Social Director at BNDES, as well as holding key positions at federal, state, and municipal levels.
