Felipe Krause is a Professor at the Oxford School of Global and Area Studies at the University of Oxford and Director of the Brazilian Studies Programme. A former diplomat, he served across four governments (2007–2020), working in the areas of human rights, financial cooperation and global governance. His current project, ‘Infrastructures of Prohibition’, examines the persistence of the global drug control regime despite its widely recognised failures.
