Mario Aquino Alves is a Full Professor at FGV EAESP and a researcher at CEAPG, working in the fields of civil society, philanthropy, and public policy. A productivity fellow at CNPq, his research focuses on information disorder, climate governance, and the use of evidence in public policymaking. He served as board chair of the ISTR and is a Bellagio Fellow. His scholarly work bridges organizational theory, democracy, and the tackling of contemporary challenges.
