The Brazil Forum UK is an annual event, organized voluntarily by Brazilian students in the United Kingdom with the aim of discussing topics that drive positive changes in Brazil. The forum is traditionally held at the University of Oxford and/or the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).

The first edition of the event took place in 2016 when a group of students from Oxford and LSE universities came together to share a concern: the great political polarization in Brazil. From that meeting emerged the idea of ​​creating a space to discuss public policies, citizenship, and Brazil’s development from different perspectives and points of view.

Over the past nine years, the Brazil Forum UK has established itself as a consistent space for dialogue and reflection. Each edition brings together different experts, politicians, opinion makers, and academics to discuss a range of social and structural issues in our society. The topics debated are chosen by the organizing committee, following values such as respect for democracy, commitment to diversity, and the appreciation of rights.

The Brazil Forum UK is a non-profit event, non-partisan, with the patronage of Supreme Federal Court (STF) Justice Luís Roberto Barroso, who has participated in every edition of the event since 2016.
